The Twitter effect

How do you think this conference would be different if the Twitters of those of us in attendance were shown on screen behind the speakers? Hmmm. I'd love to see how the people unfamiliar with Twitter would react to some of the commentary going on in what amounts to the back-channel. Probably would get some of those who weren't previously to dive in and see what micro-blogging is all about, which I think would be completely worth it.

Brilliant. I'm bumming big time that I'm not part of the backchannel. For the first time, the power of Twitter and Microblogging has grown really appealing to me. (Yes, Armano, I'll sign up for a Twitter account!)

I just thank Chris, Jeremy and Tom for posting updates so Mike Driehorst and I can vicariously attend. Who needs to spend $1700? Kidding!

Actually, they did this at Mix O7 in Vegas. And yes, it's interesting to see real-time comments up on stage.
