I am heavily involved in Social Media Marketing. I use text messages daily. It seems to me that mobile marketing is still advertising at someone. This seems contrary to what social media is all about.Personally, I would be bothered if I recieved an unsolicited text message. I have recieved maybe 5 unsolicited text messages thus far and instantly opted out.However, I can appreciate recieving SMS if I requested it.Nathan
