Hybrid NFL NBC Heros mashup was pretty fun. But did anyone see the Coke pre-trailer spot with HS teams from past and present facing off? Classic. Hope they show it here, too.

Bruce has jowls.

DreamWorks' 3D Monsters vs. Aliens looks funnier than Pixar's Up. But loaded with "adult" humor as usual. I have so, so much more respect for honest comedy than for the wink, wink, nod, nod "satirical" cartoons. Eck.

Dancing jocks and lizards for SoBe just a little too weird.

Halftime beckons.

Cheetos? at the Super Bowl? Trying to revive Tony the TIger? Very iffy.

James Harrison, MVP. Wow 100 yard INT return. Being reviewed, of course.

Very long Pixar promo for 3D movie whose name I'm forgetting already. Oh yeah, Up.

H&R Block does death. And taxes. No duh. Ugh. Teleflora insults. Monster.com sweepstakes with NFL. Leno in a Shelby Cobra pimping his new 10PM strip. Almost cool, since it's probably really his car.

Hyundai tweaks the luxury sedan competition, and alludes to Honda "confusion" ("gets our name right". Not that we ever wanted you to confuse us with Honda. Oh, no.)

eTrade ad is way less funny than the "outtakes" I saw as a pre-trailer ad at the movies this weekend. I don't think the joint Hulu-NBC.com see the ads here spot was Hulu's last shot. At least I hope not.

Warner gets time and hits Boldin deep. (I have the Cardinals and 7 points. Not that I gamble or anything.) Now, a stumble and a TD!

Creepy G (that's Gatorade) ad with black & white jocks. Then, another seeming story, but, no, it's a gag from cars.com. Mildly amusing. I'm still not feeling the Recession. Is that intentional? Is that a mistake?

First Busch ad with the Clydesdales. Not a classic. 2nd one much better. Horse romance with Motown soundtrack! Diet Pepsi Max goes the funny violence route. JJ Abrams Star Trek movie will apparently be a character study. But with sex!

Gartner's Andrew Frank points out Anheuser Busch didn't buy "drinkability' as a key word, even though it's their theme for Bud Light. Ouch. Last break unmemorable.

Land of the Lost promo feels like it's not a real movie. Is it an NBC promo with Will Ferrell? More violence from Doritos. Go Daddy makes porn promises it can't keep.

Ah the Conan O'Brien Bud Light ad (seen only in Sweden). Conan gives proceeds to charity because it's a promo for his show. Funny. New Jack Black flick looks less so.

Challenge saves TD.

Bob Dylan! Gumby! Shrek! and the refresh symbol for Pepsi. Lame Doritos ad uses crystal ball where a Magic 8ball was the metaphor. What, couldn't they get the rights?
