Hulu, like TV, doesn't rot your brain, it only softens it like a ripe banana. What are you going to do, turn off your TV and your computer? Alec Baldwin + Hulu + NBC = best ad so far.

Vizio ad has no visuals whatsoever. But mentions stimulus package. I'm torn. GE 'smart grid" with scarecrow CGI. Hmmm. Not sold.

Warner getting slaughtered but quick release and Larry Fitzgerald come thru.

Hyundai runs its "buy our car and we'll take it back if you lose your job" ad. Dumb Coke Zero parody of the classic Mean Joe Green spot. Boy, there seem to be a lot of NBC house ads.

Cards going no-huddle and driving. Gotta pay attention.

OK, time to nitpick on the AXA Equitable ad (which is not new). You can have an 800-lb gorilla. You can have an elephant in the room that no one wants to acknowledge. You cannot have an 800 lb gorilla that no one wants to acknowledge. Get your $#@! cliches straight, dummies.

Careerbuilder is getting very mixed results from the blogerati. A few love it, a few hate it. Does that signify goodness?

NFL spot assumes we remember the one from last year. Don't think that's a safe assumption. But upon review, it almost works on its own. Does Heineken think Americans think John Turturro is a real tough guy? Beer as sword? Uh, I don't think so.

Discovery Max Men promo is brutal. Super effective during fubball.

Steelers starting to take control. Cards deck Big Ben & withstand pansy penalties.

Oh boy, Transformers will be back. I loathed the first one. But it had no nostalgia pull for me.

Careerbuilder definitely caught my attention. Like a round, with fairly catchy visuals. Quite long, but it held my attention.

Finally, Coke. A lot of animated bugs. I'm still waiting for the HS football plaers. But that was pretty impressive. Celebs pitch Conan. A little racy, pretty funny.

Clydesdales with Scots accents. But you work for a German-American, or is it Belgian now? Oh right, it's about immigrants.

Coke: mobile anime plus odd choice for soundtrack. Bridgestone dancing astronauts. Serious breakfast - free from Denny's! Now that's a recession friendly offer. I don't even know what that Monster ad was about. They redesigned their own site? That's a good thing?

It took till after halftime for a truck ad????? NBC butt (LMAO) joke. First overtly mobile ad (after Sprint pregame) is from Chase, though it may be a local spot.

Born to Run. Clarence. Little Stevie. Gospel choir. Light sticks. Bruce pulls out all the stops. This is like watching a great Grammys performance, where you're painfully aware of the geezer factor, but want to rock along anyway.
